Hidden gem! Such delicious and absolutely authentic Thai food. Ann and her partner were really friendly, kind and generous. We loved everything we ordered and returned the second day to all try different things (we were a party of 6!) Food is amazing, everything was on point. No complaints! Would highly recommend the Tom Kha, Green Curry, Red Curry, Pad Krapao and Pad Parik

Came here on a Friday night with my wife and two small kids. Saw the 4.9 stars it received. In a nutshell, it deserves the good ratings it gets! Stepping into Matt and Ann’s restaurant is like being greeted into their own personal home. You can feel the warmth and earnestness in Matt the moment ushers you to your table. Food prepared by Ann is as authentic. She retains her hometown’s take on Tom Yam. Coming from Singapore, we could tell her dishes are different from the usual ones we get back home or in Bangkok. We absolutely loved her Tom Yam Mixed and Pad Thai. A halal kitchen is maintained in the establishment. Rak Thai is a family-runned unit. Just by observing the stream of phone call orders coming in to collect their food, the banter they exchange with Matt and Ann (even while she’s cooking), you can tell that Rak Thai is a gem in the Blackburn community. Matt and Ann truly try their best to accommodate anybody who walks through their doors. We drove all the way from Preston to try Ann’s cooking. We didn’t regret it. We had the best Asian food at Rak Thai during our trip to Lancashire. Most importantly we met the best hosts possible. We will definitely visit them again!

Simply one of the best takeaways if not the best takeaway I have ever had. It was great to see the food being prepped by someone who clearly knew what they were doing and was very good at cooking such delicious food. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone. We were recommended Rak Thai by some friends. Tonight was our first time here. We ordered vegetable spring rolls and chicken satay for starters to share. They were delicious! For a main I had the prawn massaman and my partner had a beef dish which was lovely. Great service too, we'll be back soon.

Can't recommend this place more highly. Delicious freshly cooked food, beautiful dishes, excellent service. We had the dim sum, khao Tom soup with veg and the lab gai with chicken before finishing it off with a Thai pancake for desert. A perfect meal between two. We've come up from London for the Textile Biennale and this was better than anything we'd find in London - so glad we went!

Delicious authentic halal Thai food - definitely a hidden gem in Blackburn! The food and service from Ann was amazing - she was so lovely and friendly. Everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back here again with family & friends.. looking forward to my next visit!
